IRONSTONE LOGISTICS: FERRIES, BUGGIES & BAD DECISIONS

In Greek mythology, Charon ferried souls across the River Styx to their judgment in Hades. At Ironstone, we’ve got The Doom Buggy—your one-way ride to reckoning.

Because Ironstone 100K is a point-to-point race, logistics matter. If you need a lift from Greenwood Furnace (finish line) to the start at Canoe Creek, you must reserve a seat on The Doom Buggy. (Trust us: this is the easiest part of your day.)

Estimated Departure: 12:15 PM

Location: Wagon & Blacksmith Shops, Greenwood Furnace

Estimated Arrival at Canoe Creek: 1:15 PM (You'll have an hour ride to quietly panic.) Race starts at 2:00 PM.

Reminder: There is no transportation provided from the finish line back to Canoe Creek. You get one ride—and it’s toward the pain, not away from it.

DNF’d? Missed a cutoff? Legs revolting? No worries. The AmbuLimp—our twisted hybrid of van and despair—will take you back to Greenwood Furnace. It won’t be instant, so please be patient. We’re covering miles of state forest roads and multiple aid stations, and we want each trip full of shattered dreams.

Need to update your transportation plans? To add transportation from Greenwood Furnace to Canoe Creek: Go to the Ironstone registration page > Store tab below the Ironstone Race Banner
