Ironstone 100K, Bronco Wild Fund, and the Neighborhood Ford Store Welcome Public to Bronco Wild Fund Days at the Start of Ironstone 100K

Blair & Huntingdon Counties, PA – The Ironstone 100K Ultramarathon is proud to announce new sponsorship and support from the Ford Bronco Wild Fund and the Neighborhood Ford Store, a network of 77 Ford dealerships across Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. This collaboration brings vital conservation funding, public education initiatives, and outdoor recreation support to one of Pennsylvania’s most challenging and scenic endurance events and Pennsylvania’s important state parks.

The Bronco Wild Fund is a mission-driven initiative from Ford Motor Company that channels a portion of the profits from every Ford Bronco® sold into protecting public lands and expanding access to the outdoors. In partnership with Ironstone 100K and Canoe Creek State Park, this initiative supports local projects that ensure wild spaces remain wild – for everyone. Bronco Wild Fund works with some of the most esteemed and experienced groups that contribute to promoting and preserving our public lands like America's State Parks.

Proceeds from this partnership will be split between Ironstone 100K and Canoe Creek State Park, funding critical efforts like trail maintenance, conservation programs, race-day emergency response through partners such as Gesseytown Fire and Rescue, Big Valley EMS, Mid State Trail Association, and the Standing Stone Trail Club. At Canoe Creek, funds will go toward developing a new fitness trail system and maintaining existing trails for year-round public use.

Celebrate at Bronco Wild Fund Days – July 12, 2025 To kick off race day, the public is invited to Bronco Wild Fund Days, a free outdoor celebration taking place from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Canoe Creek State Park. This family-friendly event coincides with the start of the Ironstone 100K Ultramarathon at 2:00 PM.

Attendees will enjoy:

  • The Bronco Basecamp, a fully equipped Bronco and 9-foot trailer set up as a wilderness-inspired experience.

  • Outdoor games and educational activities designed to connect visitors with the Bronco Wild Fund mission.

  • Ford Bronco test drives and exclusive giveaways, including a chance to win a 2025 Ford Bronco.

  • A Bronco Owners Meetup and guided drive at 4:00 PM through eastern Blair County and Rothrock State Forest.
